The College of Agricultural Engineering & Post Harvest Technology was established by the Central Agricultural University in the year 2006 at Ranipool, Gangtok, Sikkim. The Library of CAEPHT has been catering to the academic and research needs of the faculty, students, etc
The CAEPHT library possesses a total collection of 7244 volume of books including Handbooks and Encyclopedias apart from non-book materials such as CDs, CD-ROMS, Maps, Reports, etc. It subscribes to three Indian Journals, ten popular magazines, three National Dailies and two local Daily Newspapers. The Library has access to CeRA (Consortium for e-resources in Agriculture) for accessing online e-journals. The Library remains open on all working days from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.
